10 March 2010

Dear friend,

I was compelled to write this last evening, as I felt that there are more people out there in this world just like me, who prefer a good cup of coffee whenever they wish.

I hope you are at home with your families and having a nice relaxing evening. As for me... I too, am doing the same - my family is all grown up, married and left home, so that now gives me the chance to sit back relax with a nice cup of coffee whenever I like and yes, I miss the kids running around too.

I'd like to take this time to help you understand as much about my passion and to share with you some of my secrets. I have never really been as passionate about anything before, like I am about Coffee now. I have been making coffee for almost every day of my working life, and was being educated in this field, I kept wondering if there was something better than this, as all I saw and heard was a lot of hype from suppliers telling me to "buy" this one and to "buy" that one.

They spend big dollars trying to show me a pretty picture of what their coffee should taste like, but they never supplied me with something that I can enjoy. Perhaps, I am fussy. But, what the heck! I worked in the industry to bring you quality, I worked hard all my life. Why can't I get something that I enjoy?? Remember, if I enjoy the best cup, you will also benefit by having the perfect cup.

I am sure you can you relate to that!

In fact, I know lots of people in the same situation. In our own home, we have instant coffee, percolator types, drip types, you name it, we have it, and most likely, each wife and household probably has one of each as well somewhere.

I guess what I am trying to say here, is that although everyone buys and drinks coffee, you don't always have access to really good coffee. Good coffee is available, if you care to enjoy it.

I must confess my little secret, I own and operate a very successful coffee shop, and through my everyday experiences I have had to get the results that I enjoy through my own efforts because my suppliers were all trying to blindsell me to buy their "pretty picture" products that didn't have any substance at all.

Being frustrated with the suppliers I had, I was convinced that if I were to succeed in this business that I loved so much, that I would have to put in a lot of hard work and effort. Well I did, and after many years of fine tuning my suppliers I've secured some of the best coffee stocks in the world.

You can now enjoy Good coffee just like me by reading about my ideas, and techniques about enjoying a good cup of coffee.

On this page you will discover the most advanced ideas, tricks, and key techniques for a successful good brew of coffee, if you are prepared to delight the taste buds of your palette. I am going to share these with like I mentioned above, and guess what.... It's free information for you to use for your own benefit!

You will learn all the tricks of the trade and find out what works best for:

  • Percolator types of coffee
  • Drip type and Plunger type coffee makers (dilution process)
  • Espresso (expressing process)

Being a retail coffee outlet and shop, we have tried it all; the conventional, the unconventional, the ethical, the risqué... the complicated, the simple, the common, and the crazy, you know everything possible to make the best cup of coffee. This is where our experience lies.

Of all the coffee that we have had over the years, it was all "good" coffee, the best that we could find. We have located and sourced only the best coffee in the whole world and that is why 100% of my sales come from "word of mouth" referrals. That is the best advertising that some one can have. I sell a lot of coffee with this concept, it works, and it is good. I guarantee it! I know my coffee!

All of my coffee comes from coffee growing areas that are between 4000 ft to 8000 ft. In these areas the coffee grows slower and is not subject to chemical sprays. It's unfortunate that only 10% of the worlds best coffees are grown in this altitude. The other 90% are at lower altitudes, and on the plains. So as you see there is not enough good coffee to go around for everybody.

Whenever you choose to buy your coffee, make sure it is A.A. or Grade A. Coffee! - You won't regret it.

As a successful entrepreneur, I can guarantee you, that all the promises ever made about the coffees that are available in grocery stores are completely worthless, especially when compared to the coffee that is really available. What you are paying for is for the brand name and packaging.

What even upsets me more is how they say "they generate" followers (or whatever they claim) with tricky wording in their advertising they sound like they are the only ones making good coffee. In reality they are only saying that so that they can get you to buy their coffee, and not that of the "other" brands. That is not very impressive when you break it down. Nor do they place on the packet whether the coffee is of AA grade or has had enhancers or chemicals added to disguise its bitter flavor.

Just look at their marketing strategies - Have you ever wondered why they put coffee into a glass jar?? The weight of the glass adds weight to the product, which is a subliminal message to the purchaser so that they think that they are getting something for their money.

While it is true that millions of coffee drinkers do not really care about what they drink, some do. The facts are that they don't know any better..

Now, don't get me wrong. There are ways to provide bona fide buyers with good coffee and to make some serious changes in what goes into their mouths. But the "buy-this coffee" sellers only have a minute interest in what you think, as long as they are selling their coffee and putting your money into their pockets - they just don't care about you, the consumer!

I know they don't. I have personally spoken with most of the biggest names in coffee marketing, and their track records are pathetic. Most of them sell little, if anything on their own. They make all their money by selling mediocre coffee's to the unsuspecting people who want to take advantage of and enjoy a beverage that they would like to drink. That is the consumers right. Your right.

Have you ever seen one of them give you a taste of what they are supposedly marketing... and all these profits they are marketing for? That's because the only thing they are marketing online is their "better profit line" sales. Nothing else! They don't care if you get your order and throw into the trash because "it tastes terrible", they just want your order.

I have developed ways of finding only the best coffees for clients who prefer something better than average. You are now taking the time to find out about us and read our material, therefore our reputation is at stake.

Remember, until recently, we had only a store selling coffee and teas, I didn't have any staff members to run my business, I did it myself. Now, I just hired a full time manager to take care of daily operations so I can share with you more of my "trade secrets" because Believe that coffee is not being given full benefits due to the nature of the industry's marketing philosophy. I want you to enjoy your coffee and that is why I am giving you access to the best coffee supplies in the world!

We want you to concentrate all of your time enjoying your coffee, not dreading another cup.

The Market Place

Coffee is not a fad. Coffee is not a trend. Coffee has been around for centuries. The era we are now living in, is the beginning of the next revolution that will affect how you and your family lives, works, and plays for the rest of your lives.

Current projections say there are more than one billion coffee drinkers around the world. As you may already know, there are also new products now becoming available; and one in particular is specialized connoisseurs tea's.

You sometimes see some really big stores selling many brands of coffee. Then you wonder why you are only getting the same stuff yet again. Remember these stores have millions of customers (yes, I said millions) with big dollar advertising budgets, a large staff, etc..

That is why they sell so much, they have to!

And I have proven that any "small guy" can sell good coffee as well. I did it! Just look at the number of visitors I get every year to my store! All it requires is some innovative and intelligent reading to find something that suits your taste.

As much as some won't like to admit it, a business lives or dies on its marketing; on getting the word out. If the business doesn't have the budget, every marketing dollar must do the work of two (if not five, or even ten). We must use innovative and unconventional techniques to market our products to be successful.

You have to sell a lot of coffee to make up that kind of advertising cost. And that's not to mention that, that type of advertising is priceless.

In many cases you can take a coffee that was not featured in direct marketing, magazine advertising, newspaper advertising or even retail sales and make it a great success.

Any advertised product will sell. But what about quality? Wouldn't you prefer quality at the same price without having to pay for the high budget of advertising on a low quality product? I know you would.

Let me ask you, why do I sell thousands of packages of coffee more than they do?...

Providing intelligent and good service to our clients. That is the Marketing key! I will show you how to increase the volume of coffee that you buy just because you bought it! For example, usually someone will say "Yeah, I tried that coffee before, and it didn't last very long and it did nothing for me." Learn the proven ways of making good coffee so you are guaranteed to make a good cup the first time out.

We know all the insider coffee making techniques: how marketers disguise ads so people will purchase their products. Just think about it.

Now you can learn about the best methods of making GOOD coffee...

Below are a few examples of techniques that you can use to get a better cup of coffee.

General Coffee Tips:

  • How to raise your perspective of coffee, at a good price and still increase your value at the same time. For example if you buy coffee in any store, your cost per cup is 33 cents
  • But when you buy our coffee, you will not only get a better cup, your individual cup cost is just 15 cents per cup!

Coffee Making Tips:

  • only use freshly ground coffee
  • don't over boil the water as this robs the water of valuable minerals and oxygen
  • never re-use the old coffee grounds
  • do not use a microwave oven to heat the water or coffee ( time frame is important)

Coffee Making Pots:

Stovetop espresso - By far the efficient method of making coffee

Step 1. Unscrew the pot by hand and lay the 3 pieces down. Pick up the base and add water up to the release valve.

Step 2. Whatever the size stovetop your using add one teaspoon of coffee per cup. e.g. a 3 cup makes 3 large cups of coffee. Pack the coffee down into the funnel and place into base.

Step 3. Now screw the base and top together until hand tight.

Step 4. Place stovetop pot on the stove on high (the water in the base starts to boil which creates steam and together the steam and pressure forces its way up the funnel extracting all the coffee oils and flavor until it settles in the top chamber) this takes approx.. 2 min on a gas stove and 4 min on a electric stove Remove from stove immediately.

Step 5. Pour one third coffee into each cup required and top up with boiling water or boiling milk. Note; whatever coffee is left over you can store it into the refrigerator and whenever you feel like a coffee, pour one third cold coffee in a cup and top up with boiling water or boiling milk. The coffee in the fridge has a 4 day shelf life. You can also make ice coffees by adding cold milk and ice-cream to the coffee extract.

Turkish Coffee

Step 1. Use one rounded teaspoon of powdered ground coffee per cup.

Step 2. Add one teaspoon sugar to taste.

Step 3. Add cold water to pot and place on stove at medium heat.

Step 4. Stir contents for about 1 minute and don't take your eyes off the pot.

Step 5. As soon as the coffee starts to rise take the pot off the stove.

HINTS: The amount of water used is the size of the Turkish cup. The Turkish coffee should develop a thin layer of coffee cream on top. To ensure that every cup gets some, pour equal small amounts of coffee into every cup and top up each cup until full.

Filter pots (paper filter)

One of the most commonly used processes for making coffee. This method is very inefficient and wastes a lot of coffee. Unlike the stovetop this method of operation uses a method called dilution to extract the coffee flavor.

If the natural oil that the coffee bean possesses gives coffee its flavor, then when we dilute coffee in water what happens to the natural oil?

You see oil and water don't mix so you lose between 30 to 50% of the flavor and use twice as much coffee than a stovetop. THIS METHOD IS HISTORY! I can also say the same thing for a PLUNGER. The only beverages that these two methods make are a long black or a flat white with very little flavor.

A stovetop makes you a long black, short black, Vienna coffee, café latte, long white , flat white and a ice coffee. For those of you who are feeling in the mood you can also use the coffee extract from the stovetop to make tirami-su cakes.

Stovetop

I find that the best coffees to use with this method are coffees that are roasted to a ¾ roast. E.g. Panama, Kenya ¾, Deutschland, Ethiopian, Sidamo etc.

For those who like their coffee strong try the Espresso Supa Crema or Guatemala Double Roast.
